Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

The thing that just kills me is if they had just gone in on the plant with full company support. They'd be set.
I think it’s more than just money with the plant though. I suspect there was a lot of corporate harm done with various plants. I have no doubt there would never be another QRP pressing for VMP, ever no matter what. Chad seems like the kind of guy that would leave that in his will.

I still have 3 months

How much will they refund me
If you ask for a refund soon, assuming VMP is still solvent you should get a pro-rated refund for the unused months. If they go belly up before you get your refund you will be SOL unless your credit card or bank account that you made the purchase with is willing square you up.

Yeah but the period to ask for renewal refunds ended with the start of the new selection process. Their terms say they don’t offer membership refunds.

Crate was for sure a scam.

That was mentioned in the lawsuit too. That it damaged VMP’s reputation and business relationships

I'm coming in with the hottest of takes: Storf isn't a bad writer.

I think he maybe needed an editor to help hone some of his analogies and doublecheck some grammar, but his writing was, on the whole, easy to read and entertaining. I thought his Gus Cannon article was superb, for example.

I say this coming from 20+ years of experience writing and editing online news copy. I have seen worse than Storf. Much, much, worse.

Is it too risky to order things that are in stock at this point?

Thinking about grabbing the last few classics I'm missing for the 35% off.
No riskier than it was yesterday.

They’ve been trying very hard to bucket water out of the sinking ship. They’re still a sinking ship, cutting staff gives them a little more capital to stay afloat but probably not enough to save them. At some point they won’t be able to continue… whether that’s now or three months from now, who knows.
