Vinyl Storage Recommendation

Are these big boys sitting directly on the floor or are you using legs?

If you're going with legs, make sure there's a leg under each vertical or you're gonna have some serious sagging

ikea also sells quite a cool metal frame for kallax. unfortunately, mine sit beneath a wall with windows so even at 2 high they partially. block the window and i can't raise them up anymore. mine are on the floor directly.

Crunched some numbers and between shit-to-sell piling up in a corner of my apartment and cutting back on some luxuries (less takeout, less weed, etc) for a couple months, I could get that BDI and probably have it paid off before the estimated 8 week lead time. Gonna sleep on it just to be sure but like 90% I'm ordering one during this sale.

Got someone coming in a week and a half to build a base and some moulding and help install lights so in the end it should look like a build-in situation.

Wait, takeout and weed are luxuries? Have I been doing it wrong?

I usually get weed/takeout on the weekends and it adds up. Trimming down on dumb purchases for a couple months won't kill me. Especially if swank mid-century furniture is involved
I bring my lunch to work every day and that saves me like $75 a week. I also only do coffee at coffee shops on the weekend and that saves me another $30 a week. (I mean, I'm still always complaining about money so maybe don't listen to me...)

I make my own coffee like 90% of the time and since I WFH I can pretty easily cook all my meals. I just get lazy sometimes and order pizza or chinese or whatever and delivery fees are absurd.

I've been holding on to a chunk of change from a small inheritance I got and that's pretty much the only reason I'm even entertaining this right now.
