I loved the Be Good Tanyas and Jolie Holland had some great records right after they broke up. This is the first vinyl of it and it's great - sounds lovely, on 45rpm. Takes me back to seeing her in Paris nearly 20 years ago...

Is the sound quality good on their live recordings?

I kind of had to draw the line with these guys since they were releasing so much stuff, so I decided to only keep up with the studio albums. Your comment is now making me reconsider.

Its a tricky one as there doesn't seem to be any logic to which of theirs sounds good and which don't. I remember picking up one of their releases and having no issues with it but seeing some people complain of poor sound quality and pops etc (and vice versa, getting a copy with ticks that no one elses seemed to have). The 2 Live At The Crypts and the Live At The Total Refreshment Centre sound great to me and are probably my favourite amongst all of their music to date.
