Something quick and easy for the morning. I love how they go from braggadocios to eerie chillout before punching back in with a mix of the two. Was always going to be a regular to the table but this solidifies it, VMP did a good job here for an artist I'm fond of.

My first time playing a 45 too! Now I also have had the "uhh..." moment of setting it to 33 initially 👍

First time listening to this and enjoying it a lot. Unfortunately first track seems to have some popping and skipping but it's been playing fine since. So far as chill as advertised and really works well with the doors open and summer breeze coming through 🎐🌳

Consensual Wisdom by Bendigo Fletcher (Party Monster Edition)

Continuing the chill vibes I decided it was about time to put this to the table to kick off my official first step on the Soul Step Records trail. Bit of noise and crackle in places on Side A but only adds to the charm of the whole thing for me, especially with the nature of the music. Think this a brilliant release, very happy to be enjoying it.

Can't wait for Automagik and beyond 🍻👣

e: Just finished and turned it over to spin all over again. I’m a souuuuuuul factory 💚🎶

Daft question, but did you get a Spin Clean or some kind of record cleaner in your setup? New records can be pretty dirty, so a cleaner might help with the clicks and pops?

I did! Plan to break it out tomorrow as distilled water arrived today and want to try and get a number of the outstanding ones done. I've been hand cleaning each one so far which naturally isn't as effective as a Spin-Clean but has worked well on the whole - at least gave me more peace of mind putting them in the new inners.

I'll add the Bendigo Fletcher to tomorrow's pool and give it another spin to check. Wasn't of detriment to the album but if they can be scrubbed it's worth an investigation! Thank you 👍
