‘78 Japanese reissue pressing. Vinyl like new. Cover long gone. Got this in an old box of 3rd hand vinyl for free someone was tossing out. This gem was in a plain paper sleeve in the box between some beat up albums. Been taking much better care of it than the original owner. Best sounding version I own by far.

I saw @Gavaxeman post this in another thread and it prompted me to pull out my OG.

This is one of my favorite records of the 90's. I often described it to friends as modern day music for forward thinking Pink Floyd fans. Can't think of any that disagreed.

Foil covers are tough to photograph.

It’s such a good record , picked up my cd copy for £5 in 1996 after they split the first time and was blown away , superb guitar throughout, Richard Ashcroft should never have ditched Nick McCabe . The vinyl reissue was a very welcome release

I'm far from an Ohio Players aficionado. I'm sure there are others here that can give more sound advice.

With that said, I have 3 of their albums - Fire, Honey and Observations In Time. The first two are split pretty evenly between funk and slow jams. You're likely to hear a song or two on each that you know. Observations is much more in a soul/blues kind of vein. Reminds me of The Temptations a bit with some Stax thrown in.

Sweet, thanks for the info! All sound good to me, so I guess I better get started haha
