My CD player bit the dust. I found an old boombox and hooked up headphone jack to my system.
Haven't listened to this album in forever. Forgot how good it was really.
Ike Quebec - The Complete Blue Note 45 Sessions Of Ike Quebec (Mosaic Records, 1987 Limited Box Set Pressing)
Spent the rainy London afternoon sorting through records to sell and listening to this fantastic box set. It really is the perfect set to relax to, its just fantastic.
Miles Davis – Kind Of Blue (CBS, 1968 UK Stereo Pressing - Misprint)
This was a recent find which I decided to clean and test before I likely sell/swap it. Sounds fantastic, a very good pressing to my ears. It's one of those timeless records which I will never tire of.
Bill Evans - Some Other Time: The Lost Session From The Black Forest (Resonance Records, 2020 RSD Limited Pressing)
Finally got around to spinning this RSD pick up. I have been after this for a while now and was really happy to hear Resonance were repressing it. It's a fantastic recording with some superb performances. I had a seam split on this copy but shot Resonance an email and they are shipping over a replacement which also matches the number on the original sleeve. Very cool of them considering I bought from a different retailer.
