What's Spinning

really wanted to buy this when it came out but it was like 70€. still happy with my OG.
is this pressing any better.

A bit pricey but the colored vinyl and bonus 45 drew me in haha

Havn't heard the OG so can't compare. But all three were warped when i got it (which record isn't nowadays) so i had to flatten them first. The sound is a little bit higher than normal records and a little bassy but still very good. Some crackle during run-in and between tracks and some surface noice. Overall a very good pressing.

First spin in about 6 weeks. I packed vinyl & TT away as there is alot of work going on in the house especially when I ain't here & I naturally trust dogs more than humans. Temp set up on my old tv stand, pretty sure when the long haired general gets in from work she will have something to say 😢 I call her rocket cause she can go off at anytime 😂

Thelonious Monk ‎– Underground (Columbia, 1968 First Italian Pressing)

One of (and there's several) my favourite Monk albums. Really killer, and he plays with such confidence. Crazy stuff. Interestingly the cover art , which depicts him as a World War II French revolutionary and was designed by John Berg (art director for Columbia records), won a grammy and propelled the album further into the limelight.
