Cold - The Things We Can't Stop (2019)

I never really listened to Cold, didn't think much of them. This album blew me away. A post-grunge sound, but it's mellow and introspective. One of my honorable mentions for album of the year.

Fruko - El Bueno

Fruko is by some distance my favourite Latin artist. He played funky bass (and much more) and had the great Joe Arroyo on vocals much of the time. This record may, or may not, be his solo debut (it's not always easy to tell) but it is bloody great.
