Hold a gun to my head and ask me what my favorite genre is and I'd 9/10 tims respond with Post-Rock. As my love for EITS grew I began to venture out, with the help of edonkey2000, limewire ect, my digital collection of Post-Rock expanded at speeds an iPod could not keep up with. During that learning phase I found out about 65daysofstatic, this album One Time for All Time, was an excellent follow up to The Fall of Math, and in 2016 when they issued this on vinyl for the first time I knew it was something High School Bliss needed in the collection. What helps set 65daysofstatic different from their peers is their heavy use of electronics to help create their soundscape, heavy doses of tempo changes, frantic guitars welcome you into their world, and by the end of the album you are left wanting more. One of those albums that is hard to describe because of how much is going on, they take on a variety of genres and display their true musicianship, a group of 4 talented dudes that helped push the genre of Post-Rock into the future.

Pressed by Monotreme Records this album was limited to 1,000 copies, 500(black)/500(cream).

This one has been on my eye to pick up for a while now! Think I'm gonna jump on it soon, my buddy and I really bonded over this record back in the day. Fantastic album (y)

Death Therapy - Voices (2019)

Incredible bass/synth driven Christian industrial/groove metal band. This is their sophomore record. It broke my heart to cut this from my 2019 top ten list last second. Still a powerhouse of a record, definitely one of the most experimental metal records of last year. I was blown away when I saw them at Uprise Fest last year! Got to meet their singer/bassist Jason Wisdom (ex-Becoming The Archetype) too! 🤘
