Have you checked out Resavoir yet? The Trumpeter for both this and Light Upon The Lake, Will Miller’s group put out their self-titled debut on International Anthem last year. I really dug it.

How’s it sound? After seeing a photo of the finished wax I am tempted to grab this.

To be fair, I only have digital sources to compare this to that I’ve been listening to for the last 25 years or so… Buttttttttttt, to my ears it sounds superior to those. My biggest complaint with a lot of this type of music from that era is that the low-end is thumpy but thin, and the high-end sounds extremely brittle. This pressing has a beefed up low-end sound and the high-end jingles without that classic early 90s tinniness that one would expect from an album of this era.
