I don't play video games much anymore, but this is the wonderful soundtrack to my favorite game for the PS4.

Led Zeppelin II

This is the most recent remaster and I sold all my old copies (none of which I'd paid that much for). Not sure if it was a good decision or not. EDIT - I thought the Whole Lotta Love solo sounded bad but then realised I just had the balance titled to the right so the panning sounded awful. Doh! Sounds pretty good now! Still my favourite group so should have figured that out a bit earlier...

I think I might be going prematurely senile. This took me a side of one of my favourite albums to realise I'd moved the balance switch by mistake - and made me wonder how long it had been like that. Last week, I managed to listen to a whole side of a jazz album before realising I had it on 45rpm by mistake.

Koichi Matsukaze Trio + Toshiyuki Daitoku - Earth Mother (BBE, 2018 Limited Reissue)

A superb sounding J-Jazz album and an all-around great package, with thick gatefold (inc extended liner notes), additional liner notes sheet (in English and Japanese), J-card, and 2 heavyweight records. Great stuff!

Super Djata Band de Bamako

I have two albums by this Malian band, both reissues, and they both seem to be called Volume 2. Not sure which one comes first so I'm playing the yellow one now and the blue one later. EDIT - this is really great with some fantastic, almost psychedelic guitar in it.
