Oasis - Be Here Now

In money terms, probably the most generous gift I've got (at least on current prices), from a mate who had both this original and the special edition on vinyl. This goes for crazy money. This came out as I hit 18 and after going to Knebworth so as much as some of the songs seem bloated now it is a pretty evocative album for me.

Have you seen the film, Be Here To Love Me ? It's great and will break your heart, some amazing footage of TVZ .

I need to give it another run through but first spin was great. I became a big fan of Townes after reading his biography (huggge book!) when he was announced as the ROTM. This has one of his best tracks on as well, so you are in for a treat!

I saw Oasis in 1995..support was Ocean Colour Scene and Pulp ...who were standing in for the Verve who’d split up for the first time ..Oasis were on fire then.. just about to release Some Might Say and Noel debuted Don’t look back in anger on acoustic that he’d written on the train on the way up to Sheffield for the gig
