Hunter Hicks! His album just missed my top 20. I recommend checking out Shawn Hess’s Wild Onion if you haven’t heard it yet. I saw them together earlier this year, they played in each others bands and are apparently very close friends.

[Edit to add:] Neil was also quite easily the biggest John Prine fan I knew before joining this forum.
