Hoodoo Gurus are a lotta fun. They got chops and Dave Faulkner writes with great wit and emotion. They should be @TenderLovingKiller® wheelhouse material.

Taped them in a gym at ASU in '85 I think. They were opening for The Bangles, but I went for The Gurus. I gotta 'dig it up'...




Stoneage Romeos and Mars Needs Guitars are essential.

So weird to think that they barely toured this album. I saw a one-off show in '91 (benefit for Marys Danish bass player) that when I look the tour history, was only the 5th appearance after Pauls Boutique came out, and that was roughly 2 years later!
