I mainly root for teams that winning a WS would be everything. Yankees, Dodgers, Astros, Braves, and Phillies have won enough (Though a Dodgers Yankees WS would be epic. the Evil Empires battling for dominance in the two largest media markets). I am not a big fan of Cleveland or KC due to AL Central rivalries (I know The Tigers are in the Central too but I have a soft spot for Detroit) but I would root for either if they ended up in the WS against one of the big boys.

The Mariners were up 10.5 games mid season and completely fell apart offensively. I was kinda bummed they didn’t make the post season but it’s probably for the best as they would have likely gotten smoked.
