Such an excellent compilation! I went into the Colemine rabbit hole myself (and started that aptly-named Colemine Rabbit Hole thread on here) but I'm not really out of it. I'm a bit more choosy with my selections though.

Not much of a rabbit hole per se, but I did buy the whole set of Flying Lotus records from vmp when they offered them.

Picked up the 4 in the VMP group purchase, and I think I played one a day for a month or so. Was at a point where I was starting to get into jazz, and I think easing in with something like this really helped.

There was some overlap but Yacht Rock was going strong first but turns out there was some crossover of Southern Rockers that enjoyed Yacht life.

My early 00's were dominated by salsa clubs, and nothing got me dancing more than Cuban Timba music. Maraca is one of my favourite Timba bands. Puttin' "Castígala" on my mixtape.

I really enjoy this modern soul project but it doesn't get to my table often enough. Correcting that today. Next track on my mixtape is Baskets.
