Play something that features fireworks, explosions or fire, either in song or album art. Or play an album by a girl band.
I suppose a Black Hole is considered an anti-explosion? Since it is pulling things in with a heavy gravitational pull, instead of exploding outward? If there was such a thing as a Black Hole Sun maybe it would be an explosion. Going with the Brandi Carlile version, since while it's not a "girl group" with the remaining members of Soundgarden as the band, she absolutely nails the vocals. So much so that Nebula had to come check things out.

Plains - I Walked With You a Ways (signed)
I don't have many candidates for this day, despite all of the possible prompts provided. I'll roll with this one; even if these ladies are not a "band" but rather a duo. My favorite song has changed so frequently on this, I can't stick with a true favorite, but maybe "No Record of Wrongs" because of Jess Williamson featuring lead with a charming performance? I've also been crushing on her hard anyways thanks to Sorceress. Thank you to @avecigrec for gifting me this autographed record out of the blue.
Poor choice on my part to forgo the Portland date a few months ago.

Harry Nilsson - Nilsson Schmilson
Did you know that Lea Thompson (from Caroline In The City and Back To The Future fame) also starred in the cinematic triumph that was Howard The Duck, in the movie she plays the lead singer of a band called The Cherry Bombs. The music for the film was written by Thomas Dolby and is not half bad in that very very 1980s new wave sort of way. If I had the soundtrack, I likely woulda played this today…
But since I sadly do not, I went with Harry Nilsson and one of the best Mixtape tracks of all time, “Jump Into The Fire”. I recently learned that Nilsson starred (alongside Ringo Starr) in his own terrible movie Son Of Dracula.

Day 9 - Seems that yesterday's "turkey incident" brought Nebula to the party! Maybe it was the smell of delicious roasting turkey, maybe it was the awesome mix being created, but it seems like she wants in as well. And she's dressed for the occasion with a wonderful ugly Christmas sweater with Thanos on it! What a fun way to remember that bastard!

I mean... c'mon! A picture disc of an Oscar D'León album, how cool! Track 3, Sandunguera is going on my mixtape.
Funny story, me and my wife played an Oscar D'León track as our wedding song, and performed a salsa choreography to it for our first dance. Interestingly, the name of the choreographer we hired was ALSO "Oscar D'León"! Makes sense, I read once that it's the 26th most common name.
