Sloppy Joe & The Cruise - Keep On Cruisin’

Something about the dichotomy between the harsh frigid Winter and breezy warm tropical tunes really works for me. This album is phenomenal and anyone who even slightly enjoys Jimmy Buffet or The Beach Boys should give it a listen. The story behind the albums is pretty interesting as well, makes ya wonder how many other brilliant albums are sitting neglected in someone’s damp dusty basement.

This whole album radiates joy and life, extending to the album cover. Groove, showstopping vocal performances, and lyrics where the words "love," "joy," and "bright" are used frequently across the entire tracklist. I played this an unhealthy number of times in pandemic season.
One of my few bucketlist concerts I can think of.
