I was thinking of swapping some songs, but maybe @jamieanderson1968 's idea is the way to go.
It's a great challenge, super fun, thinking about the albums and then thinking about tracks and flows!

I need to get into the Christmas spirit. I like both this and "Soul Christmas"...but I think I like this comp just a little better - as "Who Took The Merry Out Of Christmas?" is one of my favorite Christmas songs, but you really can't go wrong with either.

Ha! I just had a flash! I forget his name, but that dude that gave me our ISA training session had this track on repeat while we were doing exercises. I thought he had pretty awesome taste by playing a modern soul track by a legend. I figured out later it was because you gave him the track to play when you took the session a couple weeks before! (I wasn't with you for that session because I took time off for paternity leave.) Anyway, this track reminds me of the first few months at the job.

I'm going to go with something contemporary with a classic soul sound. I think the first single "This Life" will flow well from the Todd Rundgren track of yesterday.

Play something bright, hopeful and/or positive.

Melanie Charles creates a beautiful soundscape on this album of remixed/reimagined Verve classics that'll put a smile on your face for sure. The version of "Beginning to See The Light" w/ Ella Fitzgerald will bridge the synth heavy Glass Animals track from yesterday to whatever the Soul track is next.
