The UHQR boxes are nice but just a complete waste of space. Glad to hear you enjoy the pressing though! So Can't Buy A Thrill was the 1st UHQR pressing I've ever purchased and I gotta say, it's stunning, worth the $150, hard to say, but it is one of my all time favorite albums so we caved.
That said, the packaging is just as stunning, but honestly, I would be more than happy with a nice "regular" jacket, some additional liner notes and $50 less on the price tag
Part of me wants to sleeve the regular jacket and pack away the UHQR box, lolT

Well, that’s what I do with KOB. I do the same with the One Steps I have, place the inner sleeves inside an outer sleeve and store the clunky boxes away. Otherwise if the records are not in the shelf I don’t reach for them…Part of me wants to sleeve the regular jacket and pack away the UHQR box, lol

@Turbo I have a rip of the Sounds Marketing System japanese CD and think it sounds really solid. Might be worth seeking it out (or PM me).I'm sure no one particularly cares but for what it's worth in going to revise my review of that pressing of The Slider. It is softer than the remastered high res stream but it's much warmer and smoother and the stream can skew really harsh and tinny on a lot of tracks. Something right in the middle would be nice but really it's actually pretty good compared. I'd prefer more detail but it's a more pleasant listen than the stream so it's a keeper.
It’s really great! I think every song is better than the original issue outside of Wanna Be Startin Somethin which sounds good but MJ’s voice is a touch back in the mix it seems. The clarity of the mix is stunning and my record is completely noise free.Thriller arrived. It’s great… like really really great. I know we all know, but SuperVinyl is so goddamn quiet - and even better with a louder record than a quieter jazz or something.View attachment 158210
Thanks, @Ethos99 !!
Very strange but (crazy sexy) cool!Just ordered a sealed version of TLC’s Crazysexycool and it’s a Kevin Gray cut. Sounds great! Not an audiophile album but sounds awesome. TLC - CrazySexyCool
Edit: only the first record though! Record two is cut by CJH from Welcome to 1979.

I just called them. I was worried about the same thing. I've had a backorder on this for 2+ years. They mentioned they just got it in the system today and will try and allocate oldest to newest. They made it seem like they didn't have enough stock to fill the backorders they already have. FWIW.Been waiting for this one for a bit. It didn't seem to want to fill my backorder so I put in a new one, if I get two I'll work on a return then - I want this baby haha. Thank you!

That'd be pretty shitty to put it up for sale again if this is the case. Fingers crossed for all of us!They made it seem like they didn't have enough stock to fill the backorders they already have.
