My mechanic: "listen, mate. LIFE can be a grind."
Edit: that's how stupid that comment sounds to me Jim!

I don't know how they can say a one time refund when they sold a defective product.MD wrote me back saying they’d grant me a one time full refund. I’m going to take it as I think a $40 record should not have this type of flaw.
I bought all the monos that I needed from someone breaking them out on eBay for less than $200. The only one I want is the Stray Cats comp which was never up for sale haha! Really wish I could get that to fill out my mono albums. The mono albums are definitely the way to go with the early albums through Their Satanic Majesties Request. The Stones Mono repress is coming up for delivery.
This article is pretty cool journalism/interview on the tape history.

Hopefully others were successful too.
Makes sense.I had this when it first came out, sounded pretty good, but there was a lot of double ups between the albums and Early Stones is not really my thing ,

Yep I have mine from the target sale if it doesn’t get cancelled for some reason! Think the sale price was something like $270.Tarjay

Anybody have a Lust For Life - Iggy Pop pressing recommendation?
Yes they were in the US. But those are starting around $75+ on discogs so wasn’t sure if there were any other great sounding reissues out there.Weren’t those originally mastered at Sterling? I feel like Sterling in the late 70s put out some of the best sounding standard vinyl you can buy.
