I own more Zep and Floyd records than I do The Doors but I don’t listen to any of them nearly as often as I did when you were just discovering classic rock.Yeah I never grew out of Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin though.
Dark Side has been a pretty constant record since I was a kid. Animals and Momentary Lapse have been getting a lot of spins since the remixes came out. I feel like Led Zeppelin I-IV and Houses of the Holy are pretty perennial for me. More likely to listen to LZ than the White Stripes.I own more Zep and Floyd records than I do The Doors but I don’t listen to any of them nearly as often as I did when you were just discovering classic rock.
Umm that's Boston, Journey and Foreigner. This! The Doors are apart of the Classic Rock starter pack with Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin.
I just recently picked Foreigner, my starter pack was clearly inadequate.
We grew up in different eras. My friends dads listened to Boston, Journey, and Foreigner; my friends listened to The Doors, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin.Umm that's Boston, Journey and Foreigner.
You don’t have to. I didn’t pick up American Beauty I already owned the MoFi and Bellman Rhino from 2014 and I am still good with my choice.I am one of the few that fuckin' loves The Soft Parade. I have the AP 45s and they're more than good enough for me. But I'll end up buying the RHF just cause I'm a sucker.
I mean it was my older brother that I didn’t have that grew up on Boston…. My dad would have come up on Doors… except he didn’t really care about music. My dad had beach boys greatest hits, Genesis’s Invisible Touch, and Bangles’ Different Light. And a bunch of fucking Jerry Clower cassettes. By the time he got to CDs it was all Gathers Family all time time.We grew up in different eras. My friends dads listened to Boston, Journey, and Foreigner; my friends listened to The Doors, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin.
Oh I know I don't HAVE to. I haven't double-dipped (so to speak) on any of the Rhino HiFi's thus far.You don’t have to. I didn’t pick up American Beauty I already owned the MoFi and Bellman Rhino from 2014 and I am still good with my choice.

I was just talking dad rock! I think most of us here about is diverse. I might tend a little more soul and country than most.Oh, the list is long and diverse beyond those 6
I appreciate them all now, especially Boston but as a 13 or 14 year old just discovering classic rock for the first time the late 60s were a lot bigger deal than the late 70s.As a Dad hitting 60 in a month, I listened/listen to all 6
My friends dads were listening to Jerry Jeff and drinking Weller. We grew up in different eras. My friends dads listened to Boston, Journey, and Foreigner; my friends listened to The Doors, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin.
