Definitive Audiophile pressings

You guys, I'm at the point now that I'm so gun shy. My luck is so miserable, that I'm actually afraid to spin the records I'm buying. I got a 1 Step and 2 Mofi 2 LP 45s today and I'm terrified to listen to any of them. Because I know there's going to be something horribly wrong with them. I mean the vinyl gods knew this and decided to just remove portions of my One Step set before I even opened it, just for good measure.

I'm thinking maybe this vinyl thing isn't for me. Thinking about taking up Pogs. Pogs seem safe, I hear they're all the rage with the youths.

Yeah man... Pogs... Pogs are where it's at.

Did you know Alf has a Pog? He does, I think I need it.

I'll trade yah a sweet Slammer with a YingYang on it for all your records to get you started with the hobby.

Okay but my collection is missing 2 glossy Mingus photos that were supposed to come with my One Step so it's all worth pretty much nothing now.

Get yourself an OJ in the slammer Slammer. Also I think you should at least spin the one step. Theres like an 80% chance the vinyl is fine and it was the prints that got you. Good luck on the others, but listen to White Rabbit and think of me.

Well, whew... my lord... Jefferson Airplane is fantastic. As you all said before me, DEAD quiet. Like, a ghost. And just phenomenal separation for what I think is a mono recording... I think.

Dire Straits ST is unreal. I am dad rocking the fuck out. And by that statement I mean to say I am sitting quietly whilst sipping on Eagle Rare and letting the sweet sweet reverb guitar wash over me. Wow. Fantastic. My ONLY criticism is that there's a bit of sibilance on "Down To The Waterline". Not brutal, but it's there. And I'm spinning Side One of Ah Um and yeah, it sounds incredible but it's definitely bright. Sounds great, but for sure it's bright.
