Dont buy from cogs internationally. They say that themselves on their cogs listings. For the best postage rates buy direct. It’s expensive for one item but it gets cheaper and cheaper the more you add which is why my orders have been 4 and 6 and I’ve got 15 in a basket right now (no Joe you’re not allowed 15 records…)

I’ll have to do some digging on their site and see what the cost for shipping to the US might be for a few albums. I do the same thing for jpc but their shipping is cheap to the US even if you don’t bundle too many things

It’s more expensive than jpc for sure but they use fed ex and I generally get to Ireland in about 4 or 5 days which is ridiculously fast!
It prices in US$ and it starts at $20 to here but my 15 is only about $45

Yea doing the price conversion on some of the new titles, Truth was even slightly cheaper through that guy than buying direct to MoFi in the US (seemed to be about $48 US). He also has One Steps so that might be something worth checking out depending on if you like any upcoming titles. He just sold some copies of the Paul Simon one on a MoFi facebook group.
Also NightMather would get along with him because I think I saw his email address is something like ilovecablesATgmail

Well I did a thing... and have some records coming from Japan now. I realize that somehow I didn't have a copy of The Wall anymore. Must have lost it in a move...so I went for the 40AP1750 japanese pressing. And grabbed a copy of Zeppelin II. Shipping prices are way more reasonable than I would have expected. They had a lot that I might eventually want to go for, but kept it to those 2 for now!

I might have gone on a rampage last night, couldn’t sleep and bought 12 records from Japan and 8 from jpc and a box set from Germany and 5 others from cogs…
Trying to talk myself out of the splatter of All Things Must Pass right now…
I knew I had some money coming in this month to allow a vinyl splurge and good God have I gone for it. Decided that as Bowie box 5 is a mythical creature that I’d fill out some collection and artist discography gaps…

haha Yea I went down a bit of a rabbit hole about japanese pressings last night. had a lot more in my cart but held back a bit. I have a few on a JPC basket waiting to order but managed to find some Speakers Corner pressings on ebay in the US for cheap so got those instead last week.

ooh let me know how that Plastic Ono band is. I've been listening to that album a lot lately but don't have it on vinyl. almost bought the MoFi but then saw some of it's taken from the Yoko digital remix. I've been on a VanMo kick lately too. Finally found a copy of Tupelo Honey in the wild the other week but pulled it out of the sleeve and it was scratched all over and they still were asking $30 for it. One day it will be mine!

Tupelo Honey is a pretty special one for me too. Found a mintish copy in a record store here and although it was steep for used at €20 I pretty much ran to the till with it. Hard Nose was the last 70s VM I needed and with the other 2 I think I’m now only 2/3 away from having everything of his pre 1990! I’d like a new St. Dominicks Preview, mine sounds great but is one of those 70s nice price ones where the cover is shrunk into a horrible gold box with Classic Rock written above it in a weird font. I’d like one with just the standard cover lol!
I will, I had the 3 MoFi in a basket on cogs at €60 each but emboldened by my recent successes I thought I’d give the Japanese OGs a shot. At $20/$25/$8 for NM media copies of each it’s gotta be worth a shot!

Actually price wise that Truth was $60 usd. USD is only up about 20% on CAD these days. Unless he was selling it for cheaper than $75 CAD but that's what's listed on his site.
