Interesting! I figured it's easier for me to return through Amazon if there is something wrong with it (and I had rewards points), but good to know JPC has it as well. Didn't you buy this one awhile ago? Or was it someone else...

I did! I've got an original Japanese press in great shape, but I have considered grabbing this one a few times. It's a lot more of a jazzy jam than the typical Santana sound. Really great show.

Yes! I ordered it from jpc last October. It's a really cool overall package.
 
Well since Acoustic Sounds was my third Melon Collie cancellation, I decided to cheer myself up by ordering that Lotus. It was on get_importcds for the same price and part of a buy two get 10% off, so I added the Mofi Eldorado for good measure.

It's not the first of theirs I usually go for, but so many of you all talked it up that I was gonna grab it from PBC and I think someone else had the same idea that day. But it worked out well to get the discount. I know this Lotus will be an improvement over my copy but still will be fun to do a comparison!

Doesn't matter that it's cut from digital files. The vinyl sounds excellent and the source is a 11.2MHz DSD transfer from the master tapes. It is one of a few albums that was cut on the MoFi system that isn't technically a MoFi release. The concert is originally from the 70s and is a killer set.

I think Friday Music put one out that's around $60 on cogs that's supposed to be good too. But the Japanese OG ain't no slouch either.
