Definitive Audiophile pressings

I know but it's pretty cheap and I have the recent reissue which sounds like it's coming through a loaf of bread. It's gotta be better than that one, which I believe is also some form of the Yoko mix.
I’ll have to give a listen to it again but remember it sounding good. I also have this one which I remember having great reviews:

Actually I just checked, the 2018 is the "ultimate mix" which was some sort of Julian Lennon Abbey Road mix I think. It's very bloomy and very warm and very soft.

I pre-ordered it before it was released, guess I just missed the first batch. It still says “awaiting repress” from Elusive Disc which seems like a good sign.
If you're eager to get a copy of Matador, I'll trade you my NM copy for your Grand Pecking Order! ;)

Edit: just saw your post that Elusive Disc shipped you a copy. Nice!

I know people tend to not like the Yoko mixes but much like "Naked" anything done to De-Spector an album is okay with me. Can't stand his mixes.

I'll be curious to hear what you have to say about Imagine. I almost pulled the trigger on a copy a few times.

Well I only have the Ultimate Mix on vinyl and I really don't think it sounds very good. It's very very soft and bloomy, it's pleasant, but in an elevator music kind of way. I'm sure this will be crisper and not being very familiar with this album beyond the singles, I'm not certain I'll notice how much was removed from the tracks on this 99 mix. So I'm sure I'll like it but won't really know the difference...

Does anyone have any experience with the 76/77 Japanese pressings of Stevie Songs in the Key Of Life or Innervisions? They're both the second Japan presses but I notice they're listed only as "Motown" and not "Motown/Tamla".
