Talk about different meanings across the pond...Fanny pack?

FixedThis is why I took a punt with N&G, hot etymological talk on regional slang
Fanny pack?
Same, it sounds very nice to meI have an OG Winchester and have never felt the need to upgrade.
I wonder if we call it a fanny pack because it hangs over the preverbial "fanny" when wearing one.Bum bag over this side of the Atlantic. Fanny is a completely different anatomical part over here…
Although I think we can all agree that it effectively a huge sign over your head saying:
“Hey local thieves, I’m a tourist, here’s my money and passport”
Definitely, as opposed to a ball sack.I wonder if we call it a fanny pack because it hangs over the preverbial "fanny" when wearing one.
Definitely, as opposed to a ball sack.
But in the UK/Eire, fanny refers to a different part of the female anatomy
Oh back the caboose up...tush isn't a vulgar word.No one even uses fanny here unless making jokes aboutthe waist purse.
We use much less polite, vulgar language for anything below the waste
Yeah, it’s a quality pressing. It’s the only Little Feat I own on wax (thus far).Been listening to this Little Feat album from last year’s Black Friday RSD drop and it’s a great live album, cut by Boom Boom! Seems it was recorded and mixed “professionally” for public broadcast, so Kevin Gray must have had a lot to work with—sounds very good.
After-market prices may be higher than they should be, but if you like this band, keep an eye out for an affordable copy. Think I got mine from @Plaidroom long after RSD.

There seems to be a 1978 Barry cut as well. Is this the same as the 1981?I say go for a Barry cut (1981).
I just grabbed the JP 1st press cause it was $50 and mint. I'll never get the chance on that again.
Barry cut is on my bucket list.
Oh you sniped that one did you?Just called in an RCJP airstrike. Japanese EX pressing of Ocean Rain has been on my wantlist for a while.
You know I am not sure. Go for best condition and then best price I guess. There seems to be a 1978 Barry cut as well. Is this the same as the 1981?
It’s fantastic. Pretty sure prior to this it was only available as a pretty bad vinyl boot. It was my first Little Feat and grabbed some Little Feat MoFis afterward.Been listening to this Little Feat album from last year’s Black Friday RSD drop and it’s a great live album, cut by Boom Boom!
