Definitive Audiophile pressings

I absolutely LOVE stone temple pilots. I am struggling with $100 For this though.

Well...I bit. I'd love to hear a 2 LP cut of this...it also helps knowing it's cut from JJ Golden. I've never had any issues with his (or his dad...or his sisters) cuts.

I have the MOV release from 2013, and the 2020 Wal Mart release. Both are just ok. I'm hoping this one is better.

For those that don't know JJ Golden's work - listen to The Frightnrs - Nothing More To Say

The KG What’s Going On was as good or better than the MoFi, right?

What’s the sourcing on the MoFi?

The ROG states:

“Original album lacquers cut directly from the master analog tape source for the best possible Sonic experience”
The MoFi is AAA as well. The KG WGO is slightly better but the 33 over 45 is a huge improvement for the flow of the album for me. Don’t remember the flow of Superfly being affected a ton from the 1 vs 2 disc but will give it a spin and see. And I’ll keep my eye out for reviews of the ROG. I’ll probably pick it up though!

I played the CD to death when it came out.
It was solid. Shouldn't need a lot of touching with a remaster.
The prices on the previous Rhino release are nuts, but 2017 box can still be had for a decent price.
Yeah, You never know with the Rhino boxes, I managed to pick up the Black Crowes Shake Your Moneymaker for under $30 and Lou Reed’s New York box for the low $30s.

I take back my last post! A re evaluation of the fucking eagles! They’re like everything that’s wrong with humanity. Terrible terrible people making music so laser sharply aimed at selling as much as possible that it lacks any soul or depth. Music for sociopaths to sociopath to…
I listened to the album Hotel California for the first time tonight, it starts off okay and then just gets progressively worse the further it goes. I don't understand the appeal at all. A greatest hits is literally all you need and even those will wear on your patience.
