A couple of boxsets - Mandalorian was my only record-related Christmas gift, but it was a huge one! Got Bob's Burgers from one of Target's 3 for 2 sales at a great price.

The 2 Norman Feels reissues came in from LITA. Love both of these albums. The Nana Vasconcelos is experimental percussion jazz and the Pat Perez is smooth 80s jazz from Canada.

It took over a decade in the making but finally got a Jay Electronica album in hand!
I ordered through i-Deals on Amazon. Took forever to show up.Oh hey I think I ordered that and forgot all about it. Did you get a tracking email? Did I actually order this?
How does it sound?I ordered through i-Deals on Amazon. Took forever to show up.
I purchased it because someone on the VC record forum was talking about how great it sounded and the guitars on Going Against Your Mind had an almost 3-D quality to them. BTS is a personal favorite, so I wanted to hear it. Plus, I've always had very good luck with MOV pressings from Record Industries. How does it sound?
Did someone say Christmas grabs?

Thats kind of how most MOV pressings I've heard are. Digital, crisp, but sort of flat sounding. Not bad by any means, but in the US they're not a great deal.I purchased it because someone on the VC record forum was talking about how great it sounded and the guitars on Going Against Your Mind had an almost 3-D quality to them. Anyways, I have the OG AAA version (from 2007?) as well. While I haven't done a side by side comparison, I think the MOV sounds kind of flat and lifeless. Also mine has light surface noise in a variety of places on multiple sides and Side A/B has some edge warping. Honestly, I am slightly disappointed with it after that rave review. The MOV is a bit anemic, limited low end, and the clear variant is like a yellowish, piss color. Not crystal clear. It just sounds digital and crisp, when there isn't random distortion/surface noise. I may have just received a substandard version. No markings on the vinyl, poly lined inners, nice gatefold. Overall, it's ok, just sounds thin at times.
