Hot Take/ Musical Confession Thread!

I’m totally ok with raw onion. I even like tomato. Sautéed mushrooms and onions are also acceptable.

I'm like you. I can load up the burger with lots of stuff, including raw onions, mushrooms, whatever. Doesn't need to be the same every time. Big fan of pickles and pickled peppers. But no lettuce. It's pretty much the only thing I don't want. If I get it, I just pull it out and eat it on the side.

Pickles are pretty much the only veggie I want on my burger. No tomato, onion or lettuce if possible. Meat, cheese, mustard, ketchup (even though I'm not a huge fan), maybe mayo.

I love heat so I have a cornucopia of hot sauces that are my “go to” condiment. But I also enjoy Mayo, mustard, barbecue sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, etc… just no ketchup. I live in a divided household though, my SO would drink ketchup if the world deemed that socially acceptable.

Mayo is the one I can’t stand. Greasy raw egg sauce. It’s just weird and it not really a sauce and it’s also just an inferior butter alternative.

I like the kind of mustard we have, or the French stuff, but I really don’t get on with the vivid yellow stuff you lot have in that squeezy bottle.

Siracha on some poached eggs is the dogs bollocks.

My grandmother used to make me the worst bologna sandwiches, she would use way too much mayo and I would end up removing globs of it from my sandwich. I never complained though because she was sort of scary.

I don’t think Mayonnaise is a thing that exists in my Granny’s world. She did used to churn her own butter after milking the cows. She stopped when I was little but the family all said it was the best.

Ketchup sucks.
Most BBQs are superior sauces, but some are meh.
Big fan of A1. Tangy goodness.

I used to absolutely hate mayo, but the wife has made me realize that I do like it on a burg and in tuna when I can get the idea of eggs out of my mind.

But since most sauces are either high in sugar or fat, I'm almost only doing 0% Fage Greek yogurt dips and hot sauces these days.
