I don't know that this has been spun but once since I picked it up nearly 3 years ago! I bought it for my wife by mistake, confusing it with the album they released before this one which she would enjoy more than this one. I actually listened to this a lot when it came out in 2011, but I keep forgetting we have it on the shelf, so it's a perfect play for today!

Alex Bleeker & The Freaks - Country Agenda

I didn’t necessarily forget about this record but I do forget to spin stuff like this sometimes. This a great album by Real Estate bassist, Alex Bleeker (featuring many of his Real Estate band members) it is heavily influenced by the Grateful Dead.

I changed direction because of today's news. I've had this copy since my first go-round of record collecting in the 80s...I have barely spun it since then.

I got a whole load of records about three months ago and this got buried in all that. Playing it for the first time now…

Hospitality "S/T" - I would have got this at a show back in 2012, they were opening for someone and I really enjoyed what I saw and records at shows were like $10-$15 so why not? I'm going to say the last time I played this was in 2012... This one was a little too easy for me...I really need to get rid of some stuff or listen to more of my old records!! Rather enjoying this album BTW...

George Michael - Older

12610E82-6844-4B21-93DD-3A29C1EC4D4A.jpegThis is actually a fairly new reissue that I forgot I had ordered then forgot to clean it then forgot to spin for a while. I think it's also an oft forgotten gem in the George Michael catalog!

This was one of my first records I catalogued when documenting everything in Discogs way back when.

I'm so sad to pull it out today..

The Strokes "Comedown Machine" - features the track "Welcome to Japan"...look this is not their best work and I almost could have used this yesterday and with all that said as a Strokes superfan this record is great!!! It's a top ten Strokes album!!!

I don't remember when I bought this, but I think it was a $10 Amazon deal or something like that. I never opened it or listened to it. I don't do that very often, but this one just sat and gathered dust. It'll probably end up in the trade in pile.

I could only make it through one side of that last one. Terrible crap. So I had to go to the opposite extreme to cleanse my ears on this one which is one of the best sounding albums in my collection.

The Beatles - Help!

When the 2014 Mono reissues were released I just kinda figured I would end up purchasing em all for a reasonable price…eventually. Welp, they haven’t since gone back in print and the prices on the secondary have continued to grow exponentially. I ended up with 4 of them prior to them going out of print but there were a few I was bummed that I missed. Thankfully my local was able to acquire a couple of the Japanese Odeon Mono reissues from the early 80s in great condition and at a reasonable price. now I am up to 6 Beatles Mono with the addition of this and and the Odeon pressing of Beatles For Sale.

I have this one and love it! I'm still on the hunt for an Odeon Meet the Beatles

Schoolboy Q - Blank Face
This was one of my favorites from 2016, and when I was moving my records to storage I pulled it out, because I forgot about it and haven't listened to it since back then.
