Oh man I really want that set, its way too expensive for me at this point though.
I thought these 20% may have helped you to pull the trigger. I'll keep an eye and will let you know if I see the box at a better price

Oh its a great discount, but even at that price I feel like its a crazy amount to be spending in one go. Think I need to physically see it and have a proper look before I would commit to that amount!I thought these 20% may have helped you to pull the trigger. I want thing but can't afford thing whether it is sold in Europe or the Americas
European team I need a bit of advice. There seems to be a few of the Blue Note Tone Poet pre-orders going cheap on amazon US. I want to put the order in but im a bit nervous of import/custom fees. Has anyone ordered from amazon UK before and if so did you get stung with the fees?
Oh damn thats brilliant, just went through the order pages and see what you mean now! When you purchase from Amazon US they charge you customs fees (you can refuse and take your chance). If your parcel goes through customs with no fees, you'll be refunded, if not, customs are already paid by Amazon.

FYI the 2 Tone Poets I am eyeing up are:
Lee Morgan – Cornbread (approx £27 including the £5.50 potential fees)
Baby Face Willette – Face To Face (approx £30 including the £5.50 potential fees)
I think for the quality of these Tone Poet releases these are worth the price, even if they do take the fees. The others have been fantastic and I would say £30+ seem to be the going rate in stores for these releases.
Nice one! Here is the exact cost for both records shipped to France. It's quite the same price from Amazon.fr (except if I don't have custom fees) :

Nice one!
I decided to go just for Cornbread as its a decent enough price and I have been waiting AGES to get this album. The Tone Poets have been fantastic so its worth picking up this pressing I think
Ooooh which tool is this?I think I'll start collecting these TP releases with some of the BN80 reissues. Thanks to @stpaulbrowns, I have this great tool to help me I may pass on Cassandra Wilson, except if an accideal happens.

They have been fantastic to date, really great audio pressings and the packaging has been top notch. Cassandra Wilson is the one I have passed on as well, not quite my thing. I haven't picked up any of the BN80's yet but have been tempted by a few, specifically the Robert Glasper. They are doing Jutta Hipp with Zoot Sims later in the year which I will be picking up for sure as well.
I just today read that article in Jazzwise. Can't say I'm overly familiar with her work but I will definitely check out her first album.Exciting news: Yazz Ahmed is releasing a new album in October
You definitely should. One of the best of the recent London wave, and a bit different to lots of the others due to her Middle Eastern roots. I love the Radiohead cover too...I just today read that article in Jazzwise. Can't say I'm overly familiar with her work but I will definitely check out her first album.

It fluctuates drastically. I picked it up for £85 inc postage late last year. I would definitely wait for it to drop again.Anyone recall what that Coltrane Atlantic mono box was going for a couple of weeks ago. For some reason sub-$70 sticks in my head. And now I REALLY want that box set. But not for $130+.
Hope we see another drop soon.
