I am a huge springsteen Fan and have a lot of his records but came to appreciate him pretty late and the album that I first had of him and that triggered me to go back through his discography was Ghost of tom joad that I Fell in love with when it came out on 95. Fun fast. Saw bruce live only once about 10 years ago in may a week after my wedding and me mentioning jokingly to many people that I'm so excited about may because we are finally seeing springsteen.

Well, since I can’t play Horses or Easter, this is the next best thing. Patti Smith was known to be a huge influence on R.E.M. She was featured on “E-Bow the Letter” on this record and she even helped them close out their career by appearing on the last song on their final album
