My first few were a mix of some of my best sounding records (In Rainbows discbox, some AP/MoFis) and then some other albums I love but weren't necessarily "audiophile" quality just to get an idea of how the upgrade sounded!Man what the heck should my first album on deck be?? The wife requested Paul Desmond which makes me think Take Five AP 33 would be a damn fine initiator
That’s a good choice. When mine arrives, I’m going Mobile Fidelity Beck “Sea Change.”Man what the heck should my first album on deck be?? The wife requested Paul Desmond which makes me think Take Five AP 33 would be a damn fine initiator
I want that album. That’s a good choice. When mine arrives, I’m going Mobile Fidelity Beck “Sea Change.”
I heard that the regular Pallas pressed one sounds better...so maybe we can swap copies? I heard Trudeau isn't letting records into Canada now so it would be a waste to try to send it to @Mather ....That’s a good choice. When mine arrives, I’m going Mobile Fidelity Beck “Sea Change.”

Give it to me.
Gimme.
You both make compelling cases, so much so that it’s impossible to choose, and, reluctantly, I’ll have to keep mine.I heard that the regular Pallas pressed one sounds better...so maybe we can swap copies? Yea I'm going look to trade for a copy at some point. I do have a rip of the MoFi CD for now...and it's very very excellent. You both make compelling cases, so much so that it’s impossible to choose, and, reluctantly, I’ll have to keep mine.
Honestly, while it really is worthy of the reputation, the recording/production of Sea Change is so good that an MP3 in a coffee can would sound good. I paid a premium for my copy, but I felt ok about it bc it’s my favorite Beck album by far and an all-time favorite album for me period.
This is a great list, my Trio 64 is honestly pretty noisy though. Not v happy with it :[

Was at my buddy's house last weekend and we payed Goldeneye on his N64 on a 72" TV. Do not recommend. Those graphics on a gigantic modern TV make you nauseous hahaMy Nintendo 64 makes a lot of noise too
I've got it on a 100 inch projector and can confirm. Was at my buddy's house last weekend and we payed Goldeneye on his N64 on a 72" TV. Do not recommend. Those graphics on a gigantic modern TV make you nauseous haha

Honestly, at times, couldn't tell if a proximity mine was on the wall or it was just a giant black pixel haha. and when you run, forgetaboutit. i'm getting nauseous just remembering it.Pixels the size of album covers
I actually have it running through a converter box so it cleans it up a bit in 1080 res. NHL Hitz 2003 (still the best arcade hockey game ever) looks incredible and runs fantastic considering its age.Honestly, at times, couldn't tell if a proximity mine was on the wall or it was just a giant black pixel haha. and when you run, forgetaboutit. i'm getting nauseous just remembering it.
Shouldn’t; mine shares same strip as all my other components without hum. Is it very close to your amp? Tried different RCA cables? Checked the ground?Okay! It's hooked up, I'm getting a very low hum throguh the speakers that gets louder with higher volume. It's grounded too, could it be because its plugged into a strip with the amp, speakers, and pre-amp?
