Watched Everything, Everywhere, All at Once yesterday, and, holy shit, did it rule. Easily my favorite movie this year and might be my favorite movie since 2019. You could tell everyone in the theatre had an absolute blast watching it and the humor was counterbalanced perfectly with genuine sweetness. Can’t recommend this one enough

I wanna see this film so bad.

Rewatching Power of the Dog before the ceremony tonight. Even better on a second viewing. Going to be bummed if it goes mostly empty handed.

Okay, so I got 7 out of 10 in before the ceremony, which is honestly more than I expected to, and really I can't say that any of the three I haven't seen (Belfast, CODA and King Richard) look that interesting to me.

Here's my tentative ranking of the BP nominees that I've seen (having seen all of them only once)
1. Drive My Car
2. The Power of the Dog
3. Nightmare Alley
4. West Side Story
5. Licorice Pizza
6. Dune
7. Don't Look Up

I don't believe in violence but if someone made fun of my wife's medical condition in front of millions of people I also might slap a bitch

It’s a joke that shouldn’t have been made but what if Will Smith got up there and smacked Regina King for her joke about their sex life two hours ago? There is no excuse for that even if Rock shouldn’t have made the joke. He should have been escorted out for that. And the toxic masculinity in that acceptance speech can go fly a kite too
