My Premier League streaming service was being a shit, so I gave up and watched Godzilla Minus 1 on the projector. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Went classic and watched the black and white version.

YES!! I irrationally love Tenet. I know it’s divisive but for me it’s everything I love about Nolan. Intersteller would probably be number one but the ending bugs me so that drops it down a few spots.

I enjoyed Oppenheimer quite a bit but I doubt I will watch it again. His sci-fi/comic book stuff I have rewatched multiple times.

I was so psyched when Criterion announced the blu-ray set because i've been wanting to watch it for years and it did not disappoint.
They really fucked Cleopatra up good

Nobody told me I was going to a Southland Tales sequel when I bought a ticket to Megaopolis.
I liked the first one better. It's sci-fi was equally indesipherbale but it's satire landed with force and vision and it's themes were parsable. Megalopolis is the film equivalent of word salad.
That said, I was wildly entertained during every second of Copala's dazzling mess and was giggling to the point of tears at serval points. 10 years from now it's gonna be one of those cult films that gets played on the TV's at hipster bars.

Just rewatched this hoping it'd finally click as the masterpiece it gets talked about as. I was again left with mixed feelings. The child actress is phenomenal and there is some fun misdirection... but its also overly long, hard to follow in spots and full of the worst kind of Korean mellow drama.
