The Russian Circles album is one of their best in their discography, IMO
Definitely the best Russian Circles album I've heard!

What an album to start with then! A few of their early albums likely edge this one out (IMO), but Gnosis is definitely one of their strongest.

Looks like it was released back in February but it new to me. Nice Indie Heartland Rock vibe. Nice guitars and choruses.

Dang it. I just found this one as wellā¦
Looks like this album dropped back in May. It is fantastic! (Looks like it received a āBest New Musicā designation from Pitchfork too.). It kinda sounds like if the lead singer of Pinegrove fronted Crazy Horse.
Unfortunately it looks like I missed the vinyl (at least from all the easy places) might have to instead by the cassette to tide me over while I wait for a repress.
I am upset with all the Carolina peeps for keeping this a secret. Where you at @Lee Newman and @Yer Ol' Uncle D @dhodo you guys canāt be keeping this sorta thing from me.

The singles - except Eleanor - didn't have me too hyped for this album, but wow, it's really excellent. Broken, Time, Miss the Bliss are such great tracks.

Totally agree! Listened to it 3-4 times already. Had it playing in the car when we drove to the japanese restaurant we like last night and the girls loved it too.
Took a chance on the pre-order a few months ago... if the pressing is good, this is a keeper.
The new Hot Chip is solid.

Love this album! I'm a transplanted Carolinian but I got a copy of the album from Harvest Records in Asheville shipped to me. Might be worth a look, but I think the pressing size was pretty small.
