Considering how many Peel Sessions I had on CD back in the day, I was rather surprised to find none in the vinyl collection; so instead, l'll highlight this fantastic album that @Yer Ol' Uncle D hyped me (and most people here, I'm sure) to. It's so fantastic that I was eyeing up a slightly pricey OG copy a local seller had for a while—but it would seem someone else has picked it up, resolving my dilemma for me!

Since I got ahead of myself and played a peel session for day 12 yesterday, I'll go with the second half of the prompt for the actual 12th.

Innocent me didn't know what I was getting myself into on page 1 of the "How do I get into ________" thread back in 2019, but y'all certainly set me down the right path.

I'll play - How do I get started on King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard? They've got a ton of albums and I don't know where to start.

18 KGLW albums in the collection so far, and it all started with this one.

This was one of those 'how have I not heard this artist?' moments when folks in the forum started chatting about all things Jason Molina.
Now I want it all!

Day 10: although the members of Bad Religion have done a ton of other projects/bands, I don’t seem to have any of these on vinyl so I have to go with streaming for this pick. Both Greg Heston and Lucky Lerher played for both the Circle Jerks and Bad Religion.

Though November is the 11th month in the Gregorian calendar, the name is derived from the Latin word for 9, novem, since the Romans used a 10 month calendar.

Number 9, Number 9, Number 9…

David Bowie
was released in UK on this date in 1969. The album is actual self titled, just like his first solo album from 1967, but later became known as Space Oddity when re-released in the early 70s
