"Karmacoma" is a made-up word... and then the next line in the song is hard to decipher "Jamaica aroma"... or "Jamaica and Roma"?

Day 13: Laughing Gnome - Play the worst song by your favourite artist

The Beach Boys - Surf's Up

I love The Beach Boys and can even find joy in many of their half finished ideas, filler tracks. and poorly executed covers but I still think Mike Love Is the worst and while “Kokomo” is garbage. It’s still better than “Student Demonstration Time” an immediate mood killer following Bruce Johnston’s absolutely magical “Disney Girl, 1957”.

“Student Demonstration Time” with it’s bullhorn and cheesy siren effects with its faux bluesy, self-righteousness attempting to co-op something that Mike Love barely understood for the sake of attempting to regain relevancy in a time where many young folks had moved on. The song is bad and is the lone sore spot on one of The Beach Boys best albums overall.
