That's not what happened.

She had momentum. Then she made it clear she would be the same as Biden on Isreal, spent zero energy chasing progressives or men in general and instead spent 2 months trotting out the Liz Cheney's of the world while trying to turn out women at a higher rate than Trump could men.

I agree. His first term - even he didn't expect to win. That was almost entirely a repudiation of the elites and oligarchs running America.

This time, the oligarchs joined the parade. Commandant Musk.

Funny how America has let these east euro fascist types have so much influence. Land of the free and all that I guess.

Land of the free - except if eggs cost 50 cents more and people with a grade 4 education can't afford 4 bathroom suburban monster homes. Then, drop the 'free' part - or, today, it means free prices rather than freedom of choice and freedom from tyranny.

America mistakes that. Freedom from tyranny, oppression, prejudice, threat - more important than freedom to say anything I please. The Supreme Court does not seem to appreciate that.

So now - forget the convicted felon. He won't face any trials and the NY stuff will disappear. What failed coup? Those heros will all be pardoned in January. Impeachments? I'll bet that 75% of Trump voters can't pronounce the word, let alone spell it.

Worst - Trump aided foreign adversaries, was and likely still is a Russian asset, and traded in top secret documents and nuclear secrets that all but ensure allies have been weakened and America's position undermined. The international community will shut down intellegence sharing with America tomorrow.

She said, on live television, that she couldn't think of anything she would have done differently than Biden.

If she could, she could have won. People were legitimately energized by the idea of change; she offered them none. Not sure why people would expect it after watching her campaign.
