There is a $10,000 bounty for turning in someone not using the bathroom associated with the gender they were assigned at birth.

Trans people face fines of $500 and trespassing charges for violating the law.

Similar laws to this cities law have been proposed at the State level in Texas and Florida.

Don't ask me why, but I just watched some reactionary videos on TikTok to Trump winning the election.

Here is what black people had to say:
This should come to no surprise to anyone, America is far more sexist than racist. In addition the Democrats weren't running on any substance other than they are not Trump and Trump is racist while ignoring the elephant in the room that America is more sexist. In addition many black voters also felt that the Democratic Party has moved too far left and left them no choice but to vote for Trump. They are very concerned and scared over Transgendered rights. They say their children need a safe space, and girls should have to deal with penis's and testosterone in the women's locker room and in women's sports. The campaign ad saying Haris is for They/Them and Trump is for Us is something that moved a lot of black voters over to voting for Trump.

Independent voters, I swear they are all Republicans who say they are independent had a similar message about the Democratic Party being to far left, and there only marketing strategies were calling Trump racist and Hitler, and his voting base racists and garbage. And this really angered them and pretty much forced them to vote for Trump be cause they are not happy with the Democratic Party and how they attempted to alienate Trump and Trump supporters rather than running for something of substance.

All this though, has me concerned that America, across all demographics is shifting right.

Thing is...will this even fend off the bogeyman they've created for themselves?

Ok, a female assigned at birth who has transitioned to male in line with their gender identity goes into a female bathroom to comply with the law. Now, they'll be up in arms that there are males in the women's bathrooms and they'll be clutching their pearls to protect the children or whatever imagined sickness is working them up. But, then, if they did that they'd also have to be confirming the gender identity of that person, which you know they don't want to do.

Bernie Sanders won reelection for a 4th term. This comes as no surprise, however, what did surprise me is he received quite a bit fewer votes than Harris did in Vermont.

And this leads to the question, is this just people voting for checks and balances. Harris for president and the republican for senate candidate to keep her in line. Or is this a deeper sign of trouble and America shifting further to the right? I was reading an opinion piece that thinks this is the case and the reason Bernie got fewer votes that Harris is because he's too far left.

This was only a mention in the overall article. It talked more about how during the Obama presidency the latino vote was shifting left. And there were predictions that by 2028 Texas would be a solid blue state locking the Republican Party out of the White House.

Fast forward today and Texas is not even a purple state anymore and a flip blue is looking very improbable. Hispanics, Blacks and other marginalized groups have shifted right since Obama's presidency, not further left as predicted by Democrats and their advisors.

A lot of this has to due with how the democrats have abandoned the working class. They are not providing any solutions or policies. Education is also a leading factor, especially with hispanics. Due to budget cuts and declines in the quality of education as we see larger class sizes, school of choice is a very popular and enticing solution to them and republicans are pushing this. Democrats have offered no real solutions.

Trump is also a very likable guy. His popularity continues to outperform expectations. This has resulted in a lot more people being fed the Republican talking points and fear monologuing propaganda which has also moved the needle to the right.

The democrats are nothing but a status quo party. They provide no new policy or solutions. And any cultural issue they fall behind, get's them labeled as "too far left" and unelectable.
