I think that's kinda the point: Trump's daring Congress to defy him. It's a way to parse out loyalists from dissenters, and could impose a Constitutional crisis before he's even sworn in if they try to circumvent protocol to get folks in sooner.

This is actually how I feel about a lot of things today. I think about and have feelings with a lot of politics, world events, whatnot going on but I’m not vociferous with them. It’s okay to just not voice an opinion. My world is an echo chamber, my thoughts would blend in, I’m okay with being quiet and just listening and observing.

It's been pretty eye opening and somewhat shocking to see this stuff being pushed everywhere. It's practically identical to the crazy stuff we saw the right saying after the last election. They are even using a lot of the same type of "just wait and see" type language we saw then. I'm sure a lot of it is just people trying to get views and capitalize on the grift opportunities, but I have to admit I did not see it coming.
 
I did not see it coming either. I wonder if foreign influence is involved with starting and spreading this conspiracy theory as well.

It's pretty scary when you think about it. These conspiracy theories undermine peoples trust in our government.

I don't usually root for people to fail but for this administration I will make an exception. Shitbags everywhere and for the people who voted for him again hopefully they learn things the hard way. I am sure glad they owned the libs though.
