This is incorrect. When all is said and done this election will finish 50-48 GOP with 2 special elections in Georgia. While the GOP would be favored in both of those races. They are far from a sure thing. Worst case 52-48 GOP, Best case 50-50 split. The Veep would be the tiebreaker.

Also, 2022 many more GOP Senators are up for re-election than Dems. So the midterm will be important as well.

It is close, but not close enough that I think this seat has a chance for the democrats.
 
Any thoughts to changing the thread name to a more neutral name than “...Biden’s America”?

I get the prior name and all of it’s changing bylines was a sort of rallying call in opposition.

I also get most of this forum - at least those that are vocal about politics - lean left (and all flavors at that).

But maybe a name that doesn’t so readily tag it as an echo chamber? Perhaps there are more conservative-minded folks who would feel more welcome in a “Politics Thread” (or whatever), agnostic of who is in the White House. Or maybe political viewpoints outside of the US (not to say that hasn’t happened).

Anyway, just a thought. And if I’m alone in it, no worries.

Good thing you’re not a Georgia constituent. Special elections are not normal elections. I could draw a narrative to why Ossoff ends up winning and one where Perdue ends up winning but the general election results have little to do with how things will turn out.

You are aware that the media doesn't call an election? It has to be certified by the states and can't be if there is pending litigation. So no matter what they claim Biden is not the president elect. This entire Biden won and got that many votes is a fraudulent scam. Watch so real news sources. The Supreme Court will be injecting itself and 30 states will be doing audit vote counts...not recounts. Democrats always cheat and way over played it to stop Trump's landslide victory. Your dad is is gonna have a tough time over the next few months. I am sure eventually we will pivot to just hating Biden but getting to that point will be a bit rough for him.

What was the name before? Wasn’t it “Donald Trumps America”? So for the longest time we were cool with it not being a “America United” theme but suddenly we want it to be? That’s kinda fucked. Let’s not be conditionally United.
