Sorry, realize that may not have been clear. I mean actual R Congressmen choosing to make public statements like that. You may be right either way, but it seems like a calculation that I'm scratching my head at their reasoning for.

They may not be catering to Trump. They may be taking his ideas and views and running with them now. Trump started a fire and just because he’s now gone doesn’t mean that fire is extinguished.

the R’s who have come out and asked for patience and trusting the process, etc are ones who were too scared to say anything for 4 years. The R’s who are saying, “let’s go to the SCOTUS” are batshit insane and should be shamed.

My beef with the current title isn’t that it isn’t inclusive but that it’s no longer original. Time for something different, or go back to a more normal “Politics Discussion” thread, IMO.

Let’s just change the title to “Q sent me” and be done with it.

I know America isn’t suddenly fixed or better than we were before 45, but I am just so relieved that when the next president is in office and on tv giving a speech, I won’t have to change the channel worried about what my kids might hear. Explaining our views relative to our leaders’ views is one thing. having to combat the constant lies spewing out of 45s mouth was outright exhausting.
