Both CVS and Walgreens are limiting contraception purchases. There has been a rush of people stocking up on them and clearing out store shelves creating a supply chain issue.

Many people in states where abortion is now illegal are unable to find contraception as hoarders have cleared the shelves.

What a mess.

Let me put this first: the author completely discredits the rest of his article where he claims a neutral, rational approach by this sentence and the following paragraph "And, of course, there is the human toll that can be attributed in large part to Roe...."

But ,from an outsiders perspective that might not be schooled well enough in American law traditions, I think he has a point. I think your standpoint on abortion and laws regarding abortion are deeply dependent on someone's belief system that is why it should be discusses in society constantly with changing morale beliefs in society and the laws regarding this should be made into law by majority votes. I think the author is right that the politization of the scotys and the bigger focus on who gets to pick the next judge is a disservice to a functioning democracy. In the last years the changing of the balance of the court seemed to be more important than actually making laws.if a liberal court majo5strikes down conservative laws and vice versa and the judges are picked for a lifetime than the scotus is cemented by who had more judges die or retire during it's presidency. ( it's a shame that we posthumously talk about rbgs strategic failure to not retire during Obama term).it's a shame that packing the courts with judges is more important than actual legislation. It's probably best seen during the trump presidency where an unpopular and incompetent president did not get much lasting legislation done but his legacy is cemented for ages by three scotus picks that Basile been trained for years to uphold a conservative agenda in court.

Not a huge surprise. Back when I was taking my equivalent of the CPA there was always rumours that the big 5 had their technical guys in a hotel room close by so their students could go and get tips during the breaks. Never provable, but not an implausible urban myth.
