I’d have to confirm, but wouldn’t be surprising. But wasn't this ultimately the case where no "crime" was committed since he was found not guilty?

The more I read about Alzheimer’s the more I lean towards the scientist that think of it as diabetes type 3. The problem with pointing out that sugar may be the problem, is that there’s lots of money backing up sugar in everything we eat.Two decades of Alzheimer's research may be based on deliberate fraud that has cost millions of lives
Last month, drug company Genentech reported on the first clinical trials of the drug crenezumab, a drug targeting amyloid proteins that form sticky plaques in the brains of Alzheimer’s disease patients. The drug had been particularly effective in...www.dailykos.com

That came out a few years ago. The sugar lobby paid off Harvard scientists to find that fat causes heart disease when most of the evidence was pointing to sugar.I just read another articular this morning that the sugar industry was to funding research to place of the blame on fat instead of sugar when it comes to obesity and the health of Americans

Let’s just say that it’s not as bad for us as we thought. But also everything in moderation…So I no longer need to limit my cheese and butter intake?
This is THE BEST news ever! It’s Stilton & Wine O’Clock…
That is called a straw purchase. It is a federal felony punishable by up to 10 years in federal prison. Many states also have statutes on the books that cover this activity. If prosecutors could prove that you were aware of the intended criminal intent of the person you gave the firearm to, you could be considered a party to their crimes and prosecuted as such.Hypothetical here. So if I buy a gun and go hand it to someone in the parking lot outside who can't legally own a gun, who is liable for any damages caused by the gun?
Like if I so much as walk into a gas station with someone that looks underage they won't even sell me cigarettes or beer. But I'll bet if I walked into a gun show with a shady looking dude they would still sell me as many guns as I wanted...
The purpose of that article was to set the stage for providing political cover for a decision that had already been made by the administration. While the idea of student loan forgiveness is popular with the college educated urban liberals that make up the strongest base of support for the Biden administration, it is broadly unpopular with nearly all other demographic groups. The political blowback of large scale student loan forgiveness is expected to be severe, especially amongst the working class demos amongst whom Democrats are already seeing hemorrhaging of support.Supreme Court's climate change ruling complicates the push for sweeping student debt cancellation | CNN Politics
A recent Supreme Court decision that limits the Environmental Protection Agency's ability to fight the climate crisis could also hamstring President Joe Biden's authority to cancel federal student loan debt.www.cnn.com
Basically what this previous ruling did was set a precedent that executive order or departments powers are limited. More so than ever. I bet the right or someone who stands to profit off student loan debt will challenge any kind of forgiveness and the current court is expect to rule that they don’t have the power or authority to forgive student loans. Only congress can do that.
That's just not what the data shows. Numerous polls show that the only group with a majority of those opposed to any student loan forgiveness are likely Republican voters over 50. And those in college debt include many who are not "urban liberals". In fact, it is the working class who are the ones who carry the most student loan debt. Many who were never able to finish college because of financial constraints. While there are those who see this as unpopular, they are generally among groups who never vote dem anyway. Regardless, this political calculus of trying to guess how these actions will effect poll numbers are idiotic when the point of democratic government is supposed to be to make a stronger society that puts people first. Granted that's not how politicians see it anymore, and that's why both Dems and GOP don't do anything to help the working class or improve lives and therefore why fascist politics are becoming a norm in America. The purpose of that article was to set the stage for providing political cover for a decision that had already been made by the administration. And the main reason we don’t have the technology to transition into renewable energy is because Exxon put barriers in the way of scientists and inventors trying to develop renewable technology. This is just evil, cruel and wrong. People are dying of heat stroke and I hate to think about what will happen when people can’t pay for energy during winter.Fuck Energy Companies, Part 11,000,000,000
The longest period of wage stagnation in history. Record inflation and skyrocketing energy cost. Yet shell made £11bn profits in a period of 3 MONTHS and are being allowed to pay out £6.5bn in dividends but bills are to rise and a windfall tax is apparently off the books. FTW!

Pure ignorance about oil, trade, and OPEC in general.Speaking of oil, I'm seeing a lot of campaign ads lately about pushing to make America energy independent. They are all about how we need to produce more oil and vote the conservative candidate who will make this happen and lower energy costs.
