Oh yeah, I absolutely agree that even if it was the case that they would never believe it. Like I said before this really is the worst possible thing to happen right now. It's only going to fuel their fury and it's going to lead to more violence against peaceful protestors and anyone who legitimately wants to engage in our constitutional right to stand up against Trump's politics. I can see this making more people who voted for him before but were on the fence because of his bad stuff to suddenly be right back in the Trump camp now.

Yeah this is the perfect permission structure the “never trump” republicans need to go back to him

My problem is that he created all of this. He’s been yelling fire in a crowded theater since before he was elected. Has indicated many times that violence against political enemies is ok. Spews hatred and vitriol every single day. This is not the way for any political candidate or President to act. Political violence is never ok and I despise every part of him.

If Biden was behind this, would he be immune from prosecution if he was doing an “official act”?

CNN made it sound like it may have long range. NPR is reporting the apparent shooter is dead. One bystander as well.

And the GOP is complicit as the Jan 6 insurrection was a violent political act, but they refuse to act like that was the case.
