Everything I was reading this week seemed to think that would be a forgone conclusion if Biden dropped out.

And I don't think her odds are any better against Trump.

People may not have agreed with all of his policies, especially around Israel, but that was one hell of a selfless, and patriotic thing to do.

Biden has spent half a century trying to do what he thinks would help his country. This, again, paints a hell of a contrast to Trump.

The main thing here is most of Biden’s support has been anti-Trump more so than pro-Biden, Kamala doesn’t change that. If she is the Nominee the race will still be very close.

Feel like going with Kelly or Shapiro to lock down AZ or PA would be the move. My governor has been in the convo too, but, selfishly, he's our's pls let us keep him

I say go for Shapiro. You have to win Pennsylvania to win the White House. You have to answer Vance being his VP. The Rust Belt needs to see that the Democrats haven't forgotten it. I like Kelly but Shapiro has better upside.

Can’t be Newsom, Both Kamala and Gavin are from California and I doubt Gavin would step down as governor and move to another state to be VP. Mark Kelly or Shapiro or the NC or KY governor would be fine choices.

The governor in AZ is a Democrat so they should be able to replace him with another Dem to serve out his term. I would assume the Lt. Governor would take over in PA and he is a Dem too. The North Carolina Governor is term limited so he would be a solid choice as well.

I don't think any 2028 hopeful is going to be the VP. Can't be Whitmer because you can't have two females at the top of the ticket. It has to be a white male to deliver the white male fragile ego vote.

I'm a lot more hopeful today than I was yesterday. Sure, we're probably still looking at a 2nd Trump term but you just gave yourself a massive chance to change the narrative, flip the narrative to his age, and appeal to the stubborn middle who claimed they wouldn't vote for an old guy. If they won't vote for a younger black female then we deserve all the terrible shit that's in store for us.

Cooper is a decent enough guy. I do worry that he wouldn’t be able to help Stein get elected if he was in another race. Robinson is a real piece of work.
