Day 11: Play something that leaves you emotionally spent

A Tribe Called Quest "We Got it from Here...Thank You 4 Your Service"

Emotions run wild with this one. One of my all-time favorite groups come back to deliver hope, positively, sadness and loss. This is old friends dealing with life and death and friendship that can be rocky but in the end when people come back together they can really create magic.

Day 8: Play a soundtrack

A campy, nutso Brian DePalma film with Paul Williams not only writing and performing the score but also starring as the Devil.

Records and the record industry and front and center in this movie. It's worth an hour and a half as a vinyl fan.

Day 9:
Play a collaboration, the more unexpected the better.

Not exactly unexpected because of the 2 bands collaborating, but unexpected on how really great this album is. IMO, better than either of the 2 bands have released on their own.

Eldovar – A Story Of Darkness & Light
Robotor Records – RRR004, 2021

Day 10: Play something appropriate for the apocalypse, or that you’d be willing to throw at a Zombie, Shaun of the Dead style.

Hey Zombies......fire in the hole.

Sadly, twelve episodes later in season two, the zombies throw it back and kill a major character renewing the cycle.

Day 12: Play an album or artist that has become the subject of a book or movie, or something that had a multimedia rollout

Ghostface Killah "Ironman"

Disney made a movie about this guy, it was so successful that it had 2 sequels and spawned an entire cinematic universe! I'm not sure if those other films were also about members of the Wu Tang Clan but without any further research I'm going to say yes and that's why people still know what Disney is to this day!

Songs For Drella ~ Lou Reed & John Cale

Andy Warhol is talked about quite a bit in my house. He was born near where my family is from in Pittsburgh. My family is also buried next to him. There is a webcam that keeps a view on his grave so I use that to check on things back home.
