I get that. We also know our hearing is not linear in that we often perceive of sounds differently at different volume levels. Hence the invention of the “loudness curve” - remember that button we pushed in on the receiver when we wanted to listen to low volume music when everyone else was asleep?

Let’s get back to @ngower and his concern of sound “degrading” with “improper” loading. We can both agree that there is no degradation in SQ with the various settings his Sutherland affords him, right?

Yeah, I was pretty set on another phono stage but finding a 20/20 for the price I did it was a no brainier to go this route instead.
